Former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalama was an ardent lover of Roses. He loves the Roses with smell. According to him fragrance is the inner beauty that comes first, appearance have second position in his mind. He was very keen in planting different species of Roses in Mughal garden at Rashtrapathi Bhavan. The garden has an area of 13 Acres with a variety of plants, trees and flowers. 200 gardeners are working in this garden.
