During this journey we had spotted an elephant, but it was beyond the zoom limit of our camera. It was a wonderful sight an elephant through the wild grass. Through out the journey we can see elephant dung in the road. 
Idukki wildlife sanctuary Pictures
- Came into existence in 1976
- Spreads over an area of 77 sq. Kms
- World famous Idukki arch dam is inside the sanctuary
- Famous for elephants
