Very happy to have some images of this flower in this Onam season. My father always cherish memories of collecting this flower for Atha pookkalam. Its very interesting to be with nature and enjoying the present moment with nature. I share my happiness with the world through these images. These flowers are from Cheppanam, a remote village in Ernakulam District. I thinks these flowers are called 'Kakka poo'.

This is not kakkappoo. It is Kulavazha(water-hyacinth)
