Pictures of some mangoe pickles from my in law's home at Kattappana in Idukki District of Kerala. Above shown is a Kannimanga achar. It was very tempting....She took that from a big bharany.
Manga uppilittathu with Kanthari.....Its a delicious accompaniment with Kuthari Kanji.

We call these kiddies "kannimanga"; "unnimanga" is rather cute.
Thought it might be better to identify the bharani as "China Bharani"; now almost not seen anywhere. Wonder where did you manage this?

Unni manga is smaller version of Kannimanga. Bharanis are available in Kerala. The one shown in the picture is used by my mother in law. Thanks for yr comments...
