Is it a nano???

This nano car is from my table top. We had bought it from Bangalore-Mysore highway. We loved its shape and its cute smile. I loved it more because its nature friendly and emanate a positive energy through its smile. We had placed it in our office table and it had became my lovely companion. Some things catch our attention may be because of the colour, smell or shape . Anyway I searched for these type of toys in google and found lot of information.

On that shop I had seen lot of toys with wood. I liked almost all of them. These are from a rural village known as Channapatnam in Bangalore. Now this village is knowing as 'Gombegala Ooru' or toy town. This craft has a history of more than 50 years. The story begins from Tipu Sultan who trained the local artisans from the experts of Persia!! Ivory wood is mainly used to make these toys. Karnataka Government is now providing assistance to this small industry. For colouring these toys vegetable dyes are used. Its 100% child friendly. More than 6000 people are involved in this small industry.

During the recent visit Mrs. Obema had purchased these toys. Its so curious to think that these small toys exhibited at the white house.

Flowers have a large global market today. Flowers became an indispensable part of our occasions. Now we have not enough space or time to cultivate flowers for our own usage. In old days it was used in some special occasions and for Poojas. But now its a status symbol to adore home and offices with fresh flowers. Thus the floriculture opened a new vista to the youth of India. Government and banks are doing a good job to promote the various opportunities in this 'Flower world'. Market of cut flowers will rise on special days such as valentines day, mothers day and fathers day. In these days cut-flower rate will increase Rs.5/- to Rs15/-!!!!!India Government is doing a lot of programs to help floriiculturists. Apart from the global market flowers have a large local market also. Its also a sustainable employment route. Women from various parts of India are participating flower cultivation run by self help groups. Bush Jasmine, Kanakambaram and Roses are the main items. During Onam days Arali, Jamanthi and Kongini are also in the market.

Everyone like them, may be because of their colour, because of the smell or may be for their appearance. These yellow flowers are very common in Kerala. These plants do not need much nourishing. The images of flowers give us joy. I always surf in flicker for variety of flowers just to see them. These flowers make us more attached to nature.

Allichenthamara is the name of the flower. Very pretty flower from Kerala.

Flowers bring a lot of positiveness into my mind. Especially rains make them more lovely. These shots are taken after a rain. Flowers are part of our culture too. Jasmine (mulla poo) is an inevitable part of marriage. Garlands, decoration of stage, decorate the hair of bride and other relatives....more and more. One of my relative was very keen to keep fresh flowers inside the house. She arranged them according to its height and colour. It will give an elegant look to the room and a positive sign to the visitors. Some days she had done it with some grass flowers. Every part of the nature has its own beauty. Our attitude is the main thing. Now fresh flowers became a vast business area. Hotels and other business institutions need fresh flower arrangement inside the rooms. Flower arrangement thus became a special area in interior designing. In the film'Swapanakkoodu' Kamal explored the story of two sisters selling flowers.
